Waller's starling is the smallest of the red-winged forest starlings and has red eyes in good light (poorly shown in these photos) and a relatively short tail. The image of the bird with rainbow was made in the Nou Forest in November 2007 roll your cursor over the enlargement to see another. Most of the other images are of feeding young in the Amani Reserve and Arusha NP. |
