The white stork is a common palearctic migrant. The first slideshow image shows adults in a field in Erlangen, Germany and images 2 & 3 show immatures on a nest in that city. Images 6 -8 and the image below show a large flock (thousands) we saw in Ndutu in November 1997. Some birds remain in Tanzania in the summer months, see maps
