Both male and female sooty chats are shown in the upper six images all of which were made near Lobo Lodge. The lower images were taken in Queen Elisabeth NP (Uganda) in February 2010, courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. The male has the white upper wing coverts and is distinguished from the northern anteater chat by having no white in the primaries. |
