The southern black flycatcher above was photographed in Nylsvlei, So. Africa in February 2011 and is courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. Most of the slideshow images are of the same adult taken as it flew around the Emayani Lodge grounds (Ushongo), foraging from multiple perches.
