Rüppell's starling, also called Rüppell's long-tailed starling, is seen in northern and western Tanzania. Note the white eye and long graduated tail. The immature (slideshow #1) is browner and has dark eyes. The bird above was seen in the Serengeti (12-07); click the image to see slideshow.
