Small to large flocks are common and widespread, often in reeds or tall grass near water. The left 2nd row adult (Lake Eyasi, 8-11) is courtesy of Colin Beale. The right lower immature was seen at Simba Farm, West Kilimanjaro (6-14). The others were seen in the Serengti, Minziro Forest and Olasiti; click the photo above to see seven enlargements including more immature photos.
