The crowned lapwing is common in drier grassland including treed and bushed areas. The upper three photos were taken at Lake Chala (4-11), courtesy of Lyn Waltenberg. The photos with chicks were taken at Ndutu (5-10). The other photos were taken at Nanja Dam (left 3rd row) and Tarangire.
